The Proprietor, Jim Robinson, is a PhD microbiologist and Chartered Biologist who has been involved in water treatment for thirty years, carrying out a number of technical consultancy and product management roles at leading service providers.
Jim Robinson Consulting can provide expert advice and guidance, as well as in-field support, in the following aspects of microbial control:-
• Control of micro-organisms in industrial water systems
• Investigation of microbial contamination problems at client sites
• Interpretation & implementation of the HSE's ACoP L8
• Development of procedures and documentation to enable water treatment service
providers to obtain accreditation under the Legionella Control Association's Code of
Conduct scheme - including drafting of Statements of Compliance. (Dr. Robinson is an
LCA assessor/auditor).
• Biocides (oxidising & non-oxidising) selection and application
• Chlorine dioxide disinfection of water
• Audits of water treatment service provider activity
• Training in microbial control and Legionella
• Preparation of technical documentation
