Information on Legislation
A key benefit of membership is the provision of information and guidance on UK and EU health, safety and environmental legislation and policies.
The Regulatory Affairs Committee (RAC) provides a forum for member companies to discuss developments in legislation affecting BACS members and, where relevant, to formulate responses and positions for lobbying. Minutes of meetings include links to regulations and consultation documents. Other committees and sector groups also provide forums for member companies to keep abreast of relevant regulatory issues. Minutes of all meetings provide member companies with information on regulatory developments.
Irrespective of the timing of meetings, information on relevant regulatory developments is sent to all BACS members in the form of BACS Alerts.
