BACS Surfactant Training Courses
In November 2008 BACS recommenced the provision of a series of one-day Surfactant Training courses presented by course tutors with many years' experience within the surfactant and related industries. Individual courses are tailored for both practising chemists and non-chemists alike and limited to a maximum of 20 attendees. The first course, "Surfactants and their applications: A brief refresher for the practising formulator", will be followed later in 2009 by an "Introduction to Surfactants for Non-chemists" and “Formulating with Surfactants" which will focus on the role, selection and formulation of surfactants for a wide range of applications. Courses will be repeated and further courses developed in line with the requirements of BACS members.
