Membership Services
BACS aims to represent and promote the interests of its members through engagement on issues in the UK with Government, the regulators and other stakeholders, and through European representation. BACS provides its members with information and guidance on UK and EU health, safety and environmental legislation and policies, and provides opportunities for regulatory issues to be discussed and for best practice to be promoted through various committees and sector groups.
The work of BACS is carried out by member companies' representatives in committees and sector groups, and task forces when appropriate, supported by a professional secretariat.
BACS is active in the promotion of sustainability in the chemical industry through the work of the Public Procurement Task Force on Guidance for Sustainable Cleaning and through membership, along with other trade associations, of the chemical supply chain sustainable consumption and production high level group.
